WINE DESCRIPTION
Joseph Drouhin Montagny Blanc is a lightly oaked dry white wine made from the Chardonnay variety, grown in its homeland of Burgundy, France. The vineyards are sourced from the Montagny region, located in the warmer south of Burgundy in the Côte Chalonnaise. This area is known for giving riper, more generously-fruited expressions compared to the nervier and more restrained examples further north. Grapes are pressed and transferred to oak barrels for the fermentation. The wines are aged for a period of around 12 to 14 months in oak barrels prior to bottling.
