Iconic Wines Heroine Chardonnay 2021 showcases the unique terroir of Bunker Hillside Vineyard, located on the western slope of Sonoma Mountain at an elevation of over 1,500 feet. The vineyard features 50+ year-old vines, a mix of Sonoma Mountain, ‘Old Wente’, and Clone 8, which thrive in rocky soils with high exposure to marine layer fog. This combination results in late ripening fruit, allowing for a full expression of the vineyard’s character.
