WINE DESCRIPTION
Hill Family Estate's The Barrel Blend is a complex red blend composed of multiple varieties but is predominantly based on Merlot, Syrah, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon. The wide range of blending components provides a broad palette of primary aromas which builds complexity in the final wine. The grapes are sourced from several sites and picked at different stages to ensure full maturity. Wines are fermented and aged for around 10 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels.
