WINE DESCRIPTION
Herdade Grande Tinto is a blend of Alicante Bouschet, Aragonês (Tempranillo), Touriga Nacional and Trincadeira grown in the Alentejo region of Portugal. Herdade Grande's estate vineyard are grown on free-draining schist soils. The grapes are hand-harvested, before the clusters are sorted and destemmed. Fermentation occurs in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Maturation occurs in a combination of French oak barrels and inert vessels for around 9 months before bottling.
