Hagafen Cellars, located in Napa Valley, was founded in 1979 by Irit and Ernie Weir, with their first vintage harvested in 1980. Over the years, the winery has grown from a modest partnership into a renowned boutique wine brand. In 1986, the Weirs purchased land on Napa's Silverado Trail, envisioning it as the perfect location for Cabernet Sauvignon. Ernie, known as Don Ernesto, continues to manage the vineyard and craft the wines, emphasizing minimal intervention and sustainable farming. His goal is to highlight the best of Napa Valley's natural geology and climate, creating wines that reflect the unique qualities of each harvest.
