WINE DESCRIPTION
Goisot Gueules de Loup Bourgogne Côtes d'Auxerre is made from organic & biodynamic certified Chardonnay grown in the Auxerrois region, in the north of Burgundy. Here, the climate is even cooler than in the Cote d'Or meaning the wines tend to have greater acidity with fruit flavors more on the green and citrus end of the spectrum. This is the most taut and Chablis-esque of the single vineyard Chardonnay’s from Goisot. The wine is aged in oak, with roughly 10-15% new adding a subtle oak note without dominating the wine.

The Goisot Gueules de Loup Bourgogne Côtes d'Auxerre shimmers in the glass with a pale straw hue.It offers an enticing nose of citrus fruits, such as lemon, grapefruit with hints of green apple and pear, accompanied by subtle floral notes of acacia and a touch of minerality. On the palate, it reveals a harmonious balance, with a fine harmony of green fruit supported by crisp acidity. The citrus and orchard fruit flavors persist, accompanied by delicate sweet spice undertones and a hint of limestone minerality. The wine's medium body and acidity create to a lean texture.
