NOTES FROM VINOVOSS SOMMELIER
This Barolo Riserva from Fontanafredda is an exceptional expression of both the Barolo region and the Nebbiolo grape.Brick red in colour with aromatic notes of red currant, tar and lavender this will need time to open up in the glass. A very structured wine with high levels of grippy tannin and vibrant acidity balanced by a rich and full body. As a Riserva wines, this has been matured for longer before release resulting in more integrated tannins. Savor now or drink over then next 40 years.
