WINE DESCRIPTION
Fiegl Pinot Grigio Collio is a refreshing, zesty white wine produced by the family-owned Fiegl winery, crafted in the far Northeast of Italy in the region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia. This Pinot Grigio is sourced from three plots in the D.O.C. Friuli Isonzo zone, and specifically in Villanova di Farra, Capriva and Lucinico. Grapes are harvested and pressed, with the resulting juice transferred to stainless steel tanks for fermentation. The wines are matured for a short period on the lees (dead yeasts) until the bottling.

The Fiegl Pinot Grigio Collio displays a pale straw color with slight green reflections.The nose offers lively aromas of ripe pear, green apple, and citrus zest. These fruity notes are complemented by delicate floral undertones, adding an elegance and aromatic lift to the wine. The palate is crisp and refreshing, with a light to medium body. Flavors of juicy green apple, lemon, and a hint of minerality reveal themselves on the zesty, satisfyingly dry finish.
