Dimoni Vermell which means "The Red Devil" in Catalan is made by Ferré I Catasús in the town of La Granada in the Alt Penedes sub-region of Catalonia. This is a powerful red blend produced from Grenache, Tempranillo, Syrah and Samsó (Catalan for Carignan). The grapes for this wine comes from organically-certified, old vines that yield smaller, more concentrated berries creating intense, age-worthy wines. The wine is fermented and matured in neutral vessels prior to being bottled.
