I recommend a Tuscan IGT Chardonnay, significantly one from Tuscany. The wine is nearly ripe, with a fine essence and a fully opened structure. The nose is shaped by by Mirabels, stone fruit, and roasted almonds, with a supple grip and a even finish. The oak ageing and vinosity add strength and complexity. The wine is clean and refreshing, with a lingering aftertaste. A serious Pinot Bianco, it is best enjoyed now in a Riedel Montrachet glass.
