Duckhorn Monitor Ledge Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is a standout expression of Napa Valley's winemaking excellence. Named after a prominent rock outcropping that overlooks the vineyard, Monitor Ledge has been a key component in Duckhorn Vineyards blends since 1985. Situated on the alluvial fan of Selby Creek, the vineyard's lean, well-draining soils and excellent sun exposure ensure optimal ripening for the small, intensely flavored berries. This Cabernet Sauvignon is aged for 18 months in 100% French oak, with 85% new and 15% neutral barrels, imparting rich, complex barrel flavors. The resulting wine boasts exceptional intensity and structure, highlighted by rich dark berry elements. Duckhorn Monitor Ledge Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon exemplifies the producer's commitment to crafting wines of remarkable depth and character.
