Iselie Masla
I found the 2018 red to be somewhat one-dimensional, with a floral and stone fruit profile that was somewhat marred by an unpleasant boozy lift. The winemaker's natural approach was commendable, but it was let down by a lack of finesse and a reliance on chemical notes. The young white burgundy, on the other hand, was a disappointment, with a lack of cohesion and a chemical aftertaste that was off-putting. I'm afraid I won't be revisiting this bottle, and I would advise others to steer clear. One star for its friendly demeanor, but a significant deduction for its poor execution.
