De Muller Legítim is a wine from the D.O. Priorat, produced by De Muller, a winery founded in 1851 by Don Augusto de Muller and Ruinart de Brimont. This wine is a blend of Garnacha Tina (60%), Merlot (20%), Syrah (10%), and Cariñena (10%), grown on hard soil using the trellis system in the Siurana River Valley (Priorat). The climate in this area is moderately Mediterranean, characterized by significant temperature differences between day and night. Cold winds from the north help the grapes ripen optimally. After careful grape selection, fermentation and maceration occur at 25-28°C, followed by malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Finally, the wine ages for 12 months in French and American oak barrels.
