WINE DESCRIPTION
Damilano Nebbiolo d'Alba is a mono-varietal wine produced from old vines planted on rich calcareous clay soil from Alba and Diano d'Alba. Vineyards experience a south south-west exposure for optimum light interception, which increases ripening of the grapes. Grapes are harvested before being crushed and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Maturation occurs in barriques for approximately 12 months in combination of new and used oak.

Damilano Nebbiolo d'Alba displays a pale ruby color that fades to an almost brick red rim.On the nose, you can expect to find enticing aromas of sour cherries, raspberries, and violets, accompanied by subtle hints of dried herbs and earthy undertones. The palate is brimming with flavors of crunchy red fruits, such as plums and cherries, intermingled with notes of licorice and tobacco.
The tannin are firm, creating a linear, angular profile with pleasant grip on the palate. The wine's acidity is vibrant, adding freshness.
