This Aligoté offers bright acidity and citrus-driven character with consistent mentions of lemon, green apple, and minerality. While praised for its balanced structure and textured mouthfeel, some find the oak integration subtle yet divisive. Reviews highlight a refreshing quality with floral nuances, though opinions vary on its austere minerality versus food-friendly versatility.
This Comte Armand Bourgogne Aligoté is a delightful white Burgundy with a light, mineral-driven nose of white flowers, citrus, and wet stone. On the palate, its bright acidity brings a lively structure and balance to its lush citrus and apple flavors. The finish is crisp and bright, with lingering notes of lemon zest and stone. Enjoy this delightful wine now for its freshness, or in a few years for its complexity.
