WINE DESCRIPTION
Colonnella Le Corone Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is produced by the Cantina Colonnella, a cooperative established in 1971, located in the
Abruzzo region on the east coast of Italy. The majority of the vines are planted on traditional pergola trellises, meaning that most of the grapes need to be harvested by hand. Le Corone Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC undergoes a fermentation with a short period of maceration to create a moderately extracted wine. Finally, the wine is aged for around four months in oak, with a further period in bottle prior to its release.
