Coca i Fitó Jaspi Negre is a blend composed of Grenache Noir, Carignan, and each of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Grenache Noir and Carignan vines range from up to 80 years old, while the others are at least 15 years old (Syrah, CS) and 50 years old (Carignan).
Following the traditional maceration, the wine matured for 3 to 4 months in French and American oak barrels, followed by a year in a cool, dark concrete tank.
The grapes from the DO Montsant region come from vines planted in various types of soil, making it a representative wine of the DO Montsant.
