WINE DESCRIPTION
Château Subilaux Bordeaux is a Merlot dominated blend with a proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The vineyards are located in Blaye and overseen by Hervé Lardière. Château Subilaux is a family-operated estate, managed by the second generation of winemakers. Winemaking involves fermentation in stainless steel tank. The maturation also takes place in inert vessel with some wood influence to add a touch of sweet spice.

Château Subilaux Bordeaux displays a medium ruby color with medium staining of the tears suggesting a wine of moderate extraction.The nose presents a range of ripe red and black fruits, such as red plums, blackberry and blackcurrant accompanied by subtle hints of spice and fresh tobacco. The palate of this wine is well-structured, with supple tannins and a balanced acidity. It displays flavors of blackcurrants, blackberries, and a touch of vanilla, adding complexity and depth.
