WINE DESCRIPTION
The vineyard of Château Le Grand Verdus is nestled in the heart of a hilly landscape within the Bordeaux Supérieur AOC region. Positioned between Médoc, Graves, and Saint-Emilion, it lies at the gateway to the Entre-Deux-Mers area, 20 km east of Bordeaux. This magnificent Renaissance residence, dating back to the 16th century, has been owned by the Le Grix de la Salle family since 1810. Each generation has exhibited a profound passion for winemaking. The diversity of soils and microclimates is a key element of the terroir concept, crucial for the complexity of Le Grand Verdus wines. The "Grande Réserve" grows on the estate's best 4 hectares, planted with old vines.
