WINE DESCRIPTION
Château la Tour de Ségur hails from one of St-Emilion's four satellite appellations known as Lussac Saint-Emilion. This area is known for offering wines that are a little more approachable and are often dominated by Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Once the grapes are harvested and sorted, alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats. The wine is then matured in separate inert vats and french oak barrels until final blending to allow selection of components for the final wine. The resulting wine is medium-bodied with ripe plummy fruit and hints of oak-derived spice.
