WINE DESCRIPTION
Château La Coste Grand Vin du Rouge is an unusual blend of Grenache, Syrah and Rolle (Vermentino). Château La Coste doubles up as an art center and resort in Southern France, just north of Aix-en-Provence. Here, they produce organic wines from local varieties.
The grapes are from a vineyard that is planted on clay and limestone soils. Grapes are hand-picked and sorted, before being whole-cluster pressed. The wine is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, before being partially aged in barrels for around 3 years.

Château La Coste Grand Vin du Rouge delivers an engaging nose bursting with aromas of ripe blackberries and other dark bramble fruit, coupled with hints of herbs and spice.These aromas are beautifully complemented by subtle notes of vanilla and spice from the oak aging process. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with velvety tannins that provide a smooth and luxurious mouthfeel. The flavors are well-balanced, with a perfect harmony between the ripe fruit and the oak influences.
