WINE DESCRIPTION
Château de Laville Cadillac - Côtes de Bordeaux is roughly an equal blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Following the harvest, the grapes are destemmed and crushed to liberate the juice. The resulting must is transferred to inert vessels to begin alcoholic fermentation. The wine is matured for a period of around 18 months in a proportion of new French barriques to contribute notes of sweet baking spices that complement the dark fruit profile and soften the firm tannic structure.
