Hailing from the hills near the Adriatic Sea in Abruzzo, this value gem benefits from cooling breezes and shaded trellises, reducing the need for sprays. Jarno Trulli and friends revitalized the Castorani estate in 1999, crafting fresh Montepulciano with hand-harvested fruit, concrete tank fermentation, and aging. It boasts bold aromas of dark fruits, dark chocolate, and subtle herbal complexity, offering a round, velvety mouthfeel and a lively cherry-acid finish. Perfect for pizza, pasta, beef, or roasted vegetables—an excellent all-purpose House Red.
