Carlo Giacosa Lina Barbera d'Alba Superiore is a premium wine produced by the renowned Carlo Giacosa winery in the Piedmont region of Italy. Grown in compact soils rich in limestone and clay, in the estate-owned vineyards, the Barbera grapes flourish at altitudes of 200 to 260 meters above sea level. After gentle crushing and fermentation in temperature-controlled steel tanks, the wine is aged for a minimum of one year, with at least four months spent in French oak barrels. This process adds depth and complexity to the wine. Finally, it undergoes further refinement in the cellar before reaching your glass. This a very enjoyable Barbera Superiore, suitable for everyday and more special occasions as well.
