WINE DESCRIPTION
Bürgerspital Würzburger Silvaner trocken is a dry white wine produced from Silvaner, Franken's flagship grape variety. The grapes are sourced from the Bürgerspital Würzburger and is equivalent to a village-level quality wine. The wine undergoes a fermentation in wooden barrels before being matured on fine lees (dead yeast) in wooden barrels which helps add texture and body to this typically light, delicate variety.

Bürgerspital Würzburger Silvaner trocken shines in the glass with a pale straw appearance.The nose, is delicate and a little reticent, offering subtle aromas of green apple, pear, citrus, and white flowers. These aromas are complemented by subtle mineral notes, adding elegance to the wine. On the palate, this wine showcases a light to medium body with a lively acidity that brings a refreshing sensation. The flavors of green apple and citrus found on the nose are also present on the palate, along with a touch of ripe pear.
