WINE DESCRIPTION

The Armas by Bodegas Ateca is 100% Garnacha from vines planted between 1928 and 1958. The vineyards, situated on steep slopes at 880–910 m altitude, undergo meticulous harvesting by hand. Grapes are carefully selected on sorting tables before fermentation in stainless steel tanks without stems. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in 225-liter French oak barrels, followed by malolactic fermentation and an 18-month aging period. Limited in production, this red wine from Calatayud is a powerhouse of expression and fullness, featuring a densely woven aromatic tapestry and lavish caresses for the palate.
