WINE DESCRIPTION
Bava Pianoalto Barbera d'Asti Superiore Nizza is made from hand-picked grapes grown at 250 meters above sea level. Fermented in 53-hectoliter wooden vats, the wine undergoes careful punching down and delestage to achieve balanced extraction of color, tannins, and complexity. It is then aged for 18 months in 1,500-liter wooden vats, followed by extended bottle aging. These techniques lend the wine structure, depth, and a well-integrated character, showcasing the richness and elegance typical of Barbera from the Nizza appellation. The result is a wine that expresses both the tradition and the unique terroir of the region.
