Harmonious and elegant Pinot Noir from a fine Burgundy vintage, boasting a faint nose with floral nuances and a rich, fruity profile. at the same time it may lack a bit of depth, its intense and lingering finale is a welcome respite.

The Prieure has a rich, dark red hue, with a light lack of aging in the glass. The nose is understated, with a wisp of forest floor, ripe red fruit, and a whisper of oak and funk. The mouthfeel is well-balanced, with a measured character of tannins and a restrained acidity. and yet it was enjoyable, it seemed to be holding back, leaving the flavor feeling somewhat unfulfilled. It may be in a period of introspection, or perhaps it simply doesn't have the generosity to fully express itself.

Complex, brooding wine with a rich, earthy foundation, tempered by a nuanced sweetness. The nose is highlighted by by nuances of forest floor and pine, with subtle flavors of black cherries and black tea. As the wine unfolds, a sense of tension builds, with the sweetness emerging as a counterpoint to the earthy undertones. The trail is long and satisfying, with a lingering echo of the forest's inky magic.
