I thoroughly appreciated this wine and was grateful to my friend Nathan for sharing it. I scored it 4.8 out of 5 stars. The wine has a rich, dense purple tone with impressive legs. The nose is led by by a deep blend of blackberry, black plum, vanilla, and baking spice, with a understated oak undertone. The taste profile is similarly rich, with a chocolatey undertone, and a full-bodied mouthfeel that's both gentle and satisfying. The freshness is well-balanced, and the tannins are mellow and refined, with a medium+ level of complexity. The ABV is 14.9%, but it's expertly integrated into the in total flavor profile. The finale is long and lingering, leaving a resonant impression.
