WINE DESCRIPTION
Andes Plateau Cota 500 Chardonnay hails from the foothills of the Andes. The winery is owned by Felipe Uribe, a well-known wine consultant in Chile who takes advantage of the altitude to make ripe but fresh wines from local and international grape varieties. The Cota 500 Chardonnay comes from the Maule Valley. It is fermented gently with native yeasts and ages in French oak barrels for 5 months. The result is a beautifully balanced Chardonnay with notes of tropical fruits, citrus, and a hint of oak. This wine offers a refreshing and elegant style that is perfect accompaniment to chicken and cream based sauces.
