WINE DESCRIPTION
Alain Geoffroy Cuvée Vieilles Vignes Chablis is made from old Chardonnay vines produced in the iconic region of Chablis, home to some of the most distinctive wines on the planet. This region is known for its limestone-rich soil and cool climate creating wines with delicacy of flavors and a characteristic chalky mineral trait. The winemaking process involves careful selection and gentle pressing of the grapes, followed by fermentation in neutral oak casks to give roundness and texture to the wines. The wines are aged for a further period in large neutral oak vessels before bottling.
