Adrian et Diego Mathier Folissimo is produced by the Mathier family in the Valais region of Switzerland. The wine is made from a blend of 5 varieties, some of which are unique to Switzerland, in recognition of the 5 daughters of the current generation of owners. Cabernet Sauvignon often dominates a blend that includes Pinot Noir, Syrah, Merlot, Cornalin, and Humagne Rouge. The winemaking process is meticulous, with each variety vinified separately and aged in new oak before blending and further aging in new oak. The resulting wine is rich, complex, and powerful.
