Wine Description:
Barbaresco Rombone Elisa, from the Rombone subzone in Treiso, is a pure Nebbiolo wine crafted from vineyards planted on white limestone marl soil with a slight clay content of marine origin. These south-facing vineyards, located at altitudes between 200 and 350 meters, yield grapes harvested in late October. After destemming and crushing, the grapes undergo a 10-day maceration at controlled temperatures, followed by a gentle pressing. The wine completes alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in steel tanks before aging for 18-20 months in large oak barrels. A final 6-8 months of bottle aging enhances its complexity.
