Rubinet is a red-fleshed Czech grape
Rubinet has black skin colour. The wines are deep coloured, full-bidied and rich with black-fruit flavours, such as black cherries and plums and soft tannins.
Rubinet are mostly found in Morava, Czech Republic. Rubinet are early budding and mid-ripenning. It has medium-sized bunches of red-fleshed berries. The grape has good resistance to fungal diseases. Most Rubinet are used for blending, with a few exeptions of varietal examples. Ideal for pairing with red meats, game and casseroles.
Rubinet was initially named Tintet before being officially renamed and included in the Czech register of varieties in 2004.
