Noria is a white, aromatic Slovakian cross
Noria grapes are small and with light yellow-green skins. The resulting wines have a range of aromas and flavors, from white flowers and citrus to peach and apricot notes, with refreshing acidity and light bodied.
There were about 2 ha (5 acres) in Slovakia in 2011. Noria is a high yielding variety. it is susceptible to botrytis bunch rot. Noria's fresh and citrus-scented aromas make it a great accompaniment for seafood, light cheeses and salads.
Noria is a relatively new variety, included in the official register of varieties in 2002.
