L'Acadie Blanc is found in Nova Scotia, eastern Canada, Québec, northern central Ontario L'Acadie Blanc is a cold-hardy. Its loose bunches enables it to be not susceptible to botrytis bunch rot. It is usually blended with other varieties such as Vandal-Cliche, Vidal, Seyval blanc. The crisp acidity and light body of L'Acadie Blanc makes it an ideal wine for pairing with seafood. It also pairs well with salads, vegetable dishes and lighter pasta dishes.
L'Acadie Blanc is named after the French-speaking inhabitants of Nova Scotia, also known as Acadians.
