Királyleányka is an aromatic white variety from Hungary
Királyleányka grapes are light yellow in colour, It produces light and aromatic whites with fresh acidity. It has of apples, pears, apricots and citrus aromas and hint of honey note.
Királyleányka is grown widely in Hungary, primarily in Mátra and Eger. Királyleányka mid budding and ripening, with relatively high yields. Királyleányka wines pair well with many different types of food. It goes particularly well with seafood, light meats, and spicy dishes. It also pairs well with desserts, such as apple tarts and cheesecakes.
Királyleányka is also known as the “Queen of Tokaj”, due to its popularity in the Tokaj region of Hungary.
