WINE DESCRIPTION
Zeni Marogne Lugana is a dry, delicately aromatic white wine produced by Zeni Winery in the Lugana appellation of Italy. The wine is made from the Trebbiano di Lugana grape variety, known locally as Turbiana, which is grown in the vineyards surrounding Lake Garda. After hand harvesting the grapes, there is a short maceration on skins and gentle pressing. The resulting juice is transferred to stainless steel vats to ferment at cool temperatures. Ageing takes place in stainless steel vats for between 6-10 months prior to bottling.

The Zeni Marogne Lugana offers a delicate yet expressive nose of white peach, pear, and lemon blossom, accented by hints of almond.On the palate, it is medium-bodied with a vibrant acidity that lifts the bright flavors of citrus, green apple, and tropical pineapple. A subtle minerality runs through the wine, adding complexity and balance. The palate is clean and crisp, with lingering notes of zesty lemon and a touch of floral aromatics. Whilst the finish is not particularly persistent, the wine shows good purity and delineation of flavors.
