WINE DESCRIPTION
Zantho Blaufränkisch is produced in the Neusiedlersee region, which is characterized by dry, gritty and mineral soils. The region
belongs to the driest and hottest in Austria, ideal for full ripening the Blaufränkisch grape. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at warm temperatures. Maturation follows, with the wine spending around 12 months in stainless steel vats and a small proportion in used barrels to round out the tannins without imparting oak character.
