WINE DESCRIPTION
Y. Rousseau Le Roi Soleil Cabernet Sauvignon hails from the Mount Veeder sub-region, located within California's Napa County. The sustainably farmed vineyards are planted on at high elevation, which helps to offset the warm temperatures, allowing the grapes to retain freshness and acidity throughout the growing season. Fermentation takes place at warm temperatures, to create a highly-extracted wine with a rich core of dark fruit and an intense opaque color. The wine is barrel-aged for around 20 months in a high proportion of new French oak prior to bottling.
