WINE DESCRIPTION
Weingut Tauss Sauvignon Blanc Opok is a mineral-tinged, herbaceous, zesty white wine produced in the Styria region of Austria. The vineyards are marked by their loam and limestone soils that brings a touch of elegance, resulting in a wine that truly reflects its terroir. Following the sorting and pressing of the grapes, the must was fermented and matured in new and used, small and large wooden barrels. After about two years on lees, it was bottled creating a distinctive and refined white that pairs beautifully with asparagus, seafood, or fresh goat cheese.
