WINE DESCRIPTION
Voskevaz is Armenia’s oldest and most prominent winery. It was one of the first producers to revive the Armenian tradition of winemaking in karases - large clay amphorae. Their Karasi collection is an exquisite range of wines, made following this ancient method. Voskevaz Karasi Collection Voskehat is a rich, full-bodied white. It was fermented in karases with parts of grape skins, which added to the complexity and took the aromas to a new level. Notes of apricot, peach and honey are coupled with inviting hints of toast and brioche.

This Voskevaz (ՈՍԿԵՎԱԶ) Karasi Collection Voskehat Vieilles Vignes is a deep golden-hued Armenian white wine with complex aromas of honey, citrus, and pear.On the palate, it has a vibrant acidity and a full, round body with flavors of ripe apricot, marzipan, and nutmeg. The finish is long and smooth with a hint of minerality. A wonderfully complex and expressive wine that is perfect for any occasion.

The region has a long history of winemaking, dating back to ancient times. The vineyards are situated on the slopes of Mount Aragats, the highest peak in Armenia, at elevations ranging from 1,000 to 1,800 meters above sea level.
