WINE DESCRIPTION
Von Strasser artfully produces this enormous red wine using grapes cultivated in the esteemed Sori Bricco Vineyard, nestled within the prestigious Diamond Mountain District appellation of Napa Valley. The vineyard features sun-baked slopes on sandy, gravelly loam soils which leads to small yields of extremely concentrated fruit. The resulting wine is a full-bodied Bordeaux Blend with rich flavors of dark fruit, chocolate, and spice. This wine is a perfect choice for those who appreciate the power and complexity of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
NOTES FROM VINOVOSS SOMMELIER
The Von Strasser Cabernet Sauvignon Sori Bricco Vineyard offers a captivating bouquet of dark fruit, such as blackberry and plum, intertwined with hints of cedar, cocoa and pencil lead.On the palate, it presents a luxurious texture with abundant lush tannins and layers of ripe fruit, complemented by notes of tobacco and spice. With a lingering finish, this wine showcases both power and elegance. Pair it with grilled ribeye steak or lamb chops to enhance its richness. Cellar for up to 15 years to allow its tannins to soften and integrate, revealing even greater finesse.
