WINE DESCRIPTION
Vivier Pinot Noir is produced by Stephane, a Burgundian by birth who grew up near the ancient Burgundian capital of Beaune. Now, he makes wines on the Sonoma Coast working with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. This region is well suited to growing these cool climate varieties thanks to the cooling influence of the Pacific Breezes. For this wine, the grapes are sourced from a number of vineyards around Sonoma that help him craft a balanced and complex wine. He employs Burgundian techniques with maturation in oak barrels that create a silky texture whilst adding layers of oak spice.
