Dais
Hidden gem from the Colchagua valley, Chile. A blend of 98% Carménère and 2% Syrah, aged to perfection in stainless steel and concrete tanks. The remaining 20% is aged for 6 months in used French oak barrels, adding a light sophistication to the wine. The nose is centered around by rich black fruit flavors, including blackberries and plum, with a note of pepper. The tongue is dry, with only 2.8g of natural sweetness, and features smooth, rounded tannins and a medium-bodied texture. The conclusion is long and satisfying, with a gentle lingering echo. Overall, a very nice wine that is sure to please.
