WINE DESCRIPTION
Vineyard 7 and 8 Cabernet Sauvignon is made from estate-grown, hand-picked fruit from the prestigious Oakville sub-region based in the Napa Valley, California. The grapes are sorted prior to a whole-berry fermentation in a large proportion of new French oak barrels for an extended maceration. Maturation takes place in new French oak for around 2 years to soften the muscular tannins extracted during the lengthy post-fermentation maceration.

Vineyard 7 and 8 Cabernet Sauvignon has an inky black appearance showing heavy staining of the tears.On the nose, aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, and dark cherry burst from the glass, accompanied by hints of cedar, tobacco, and cinnamon. The palate boasts a plush texture with well-integrated fine-grained tannins that help frame the decadent dark fruit of ripe blackberry and cassis. These notes are accompanied by dark chocolate, espresso, and a touch of spice on the concentrated, never-ending finish.
