WINE DESCRIPTION
The Cuesta la Reina estate, a sun-drenched hillside with nutrient-poor soils, has been in the family for four generations, producing wines that capture the essence of their terroir. The grapes are meticulously hand-harvested and selected in the vineyards to ensure that only the finest quality bunches reach the winery. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts, followed by maceration for at least 10 days. The wine then ages in American oak barrels averaging five years old for a minimum of 24 months, with six rackings throughout. Finally, it is bottled and cellared for at least 36 months before release.
