The founder of Spanish winemaking, Don Román Montaña, dedicated his attention to crafting outstanding wines from 1886 onwards. His descendants continued his legacy. The blend consists of 85% Tempranillo, 10% Graciano, and 5% Mazuelo. The wine is aged for 18 months in French and American oak. The color is rich purple, with a rich, supple consistency and a complex, layered appearance. The aromas are centered around by concentrated fruit, spices, and cigar ash, but the taste is recognized by dry, ripe blackberry and plum flavors, with a smooth, smooth tactile quality and firm tannins. The close is long and satisfying, with a mild accent of vanilla and leather. The wine's ABV is 14.5%, and it receives a rating of 3.9 out of 5 stars.
