WINE DESCRIPTION
Viña Las Perdices Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon is a dry, velvety red wine that shows a good mix of rich dark fruits. The vineyards are located in the Agrelo subregion within Lujan de Cuyo. The vines are planted at high elevation which exposes the bunches to higher levels of UV light, forcing the grapes to grow thicker skins, resulting in denser and more tannic wines. Following the harvest, the grapes are crushed and undergo a temperature-controlled alcoholic fermentation with a lengthy maceration to create a richly-textured wine. The wine is aged for around 1 year in new French and American oak barrels prior to bottling.

Viña Las Perdices Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon presents an opaque, inky purple color in the glass.On the nose, this wine bursts from the glass with intense aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, and dark chocolate, accompanied by subtle hints of cedar and vanilla. The palate is full-bodied and well-structured, with plush tannins and a balanced acidity. Flavors of ripe black fruits are complemented by notes of vanilla and spice, adding depth and complexity to the decadent, chocolatey finish.

Mendoza is the largest wine-producing region in Argentina, located in the foothills of the Andes Mountains. It is known for its high-altitude vineyards, producing some of the country's most renowned wines.
