WINE DESCRIPTION
Villa Matilde Falanghina Roccamonfina is from vineyards grown on volcanic soils planted at an altitude of 400 metres above sea level. After harvesting, the grapes are gentle pressed and the must was then drawn off the skins. The chilled must was fermented in stainless steel at cool temperatures for about 3 weeks before a short period in inert vessel to homogenise the wine to create a fruit-forward harmonious fresh white wine.

Villa Matilde Falanghina Roccamonfina has aromas of citrus fruits of lemon and grapefruit accompanied by white blossoms and blanched almonds.The palate is light-bodied with crisp and lively acidity, which gives the wine its refreshing character. The flavors mirror the nose with more citrus fruits (lemon zest, lime), white flowers and an additional lick of salinity and smokiness on the finish.
